After photographing a friend’s wedding, I felt a spark and purpose I hadn’t felt in years. It became more than a career; it became a way to build a meaningful future for Noah and me. Then, in 2020, I lost my partner Ryan to suicide. Grief split my world in two. Photographs became lifelines, preserving memories I couldn’t risk losing. My work transformed, and it became about capturing the beauty and truth of life, even in its hardest seasons. Through hardship and loss, I let my story shape a luxury wedding photography business that changed my life.

In time, I found love again. Mike came into my life when we met through mutual friends at a wedding where he was DJ’ing. From the very beginning, he saw all of me: my grief, my past, my heart, and chose to love me fully. He loves my son Noah deeply, standing beside me in my career, and he honors my ability to share my story of loss without ever asking me to dim it. With Mike, I’ve learned what it feels like to be accepted for everything I am and everything I’ve walked through. He has two incredible children, Baer and Rogue, who I adore as if they were my own, and together we are creating a family that feels whole, hopeful, and full of love.
